Burlington Convention Centre

The Burlington Convention Centre is located in the heart of Halton Region with an easy access to QEW, and across from the Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Burlington Convention Centre is an ideal location for all occasions accommodating from 20 to 1,500 persons.

The Managing Director and Founder has over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has worked in various positions of leadership in restaurants operations, sales and convention services. Burlington Convention Centre proudly offers over 30, 000 sq feet of versatile banquet space, ensuring ample room for any event. Since the Burlington Convention Centre was first opened, we have received numerous awards for innovative and professional event productions in the catering and hospitality industry. The Management Team is a group of committed, experienced professionals trained in service, food, and decor. The Burlington Convention Center, born from a vision and built on quality, is now a five-star corporation catering to corporate, social, and wedding events for up to 1,500 guests. Over the years, we’ve built strategic alliances with prominent organizations and hosted high-profile events for notable figures like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the previous Governor of the Bank of Canada, Mr. Stephen S. Poloz. We’ve also supported various charity galas, including those for Halton Heroes, Carpenter Hospice, United Way Halton and Hamilton, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Milton District Hospital Foundation and Burlington, Oakville and Canadian Croatian Chambers of Commerce, and many others.

“If you are planning a wedding or event in the Burlington area, this is the place to hold it. From the moment we booked with Julie, we were taken care of. Even after 2 postponements due to Covid, they held our place, and the wedding reception was wonderful (3rd times a charm). I cannot name everyone as such terrific team, but I can say that Astor the “captain”, executed the dinner service with military precision. Our server Clara was OUTSTANDING, and we wanted for nothing, she was so sweet and met our needs almost before we knew it. As the Mother of the Bride with siblings and parents at the table, they were thrilled with Clara and could not have asked for better service. From the 5-course dinner featuring Prime Rib to late night dessert buffet with pizza, to tear down at nights end, it could not have been more perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. And the bonus, Courtyard Marriott is connected with a simple stroll through causeway, and they work together as well. Perfect! “What can I say that has not been said before. This group was fantastic. I booked this venue about a week and a half before my event and Sonia helped from the first email. She had great suggestions that I did not even think about. That is why she does what she does so well. Astor was on her mark. She was there whenever there was a question. The whole teams worked so hard to make our day great. Food was great and a lot of it. They kept us on schedule, and you didn’t even know they were around. They did their work so well without any disruptions.

“We had our wedding this past weekend at the BCC and it was fantastic! From the planning process (2 years for us) until the day of, Julie was amazing and kept us on track and ensured that we were well prepared and taken care of for our big day. On our wedding day and the days following we did not stop receiving compliments from our guests about how great the food was and how the hall looked absolutely perfect. They are one of the only halls we looked at that does not charge for seat covers and a backdrop and the hall looked beautiful! We had Astor and Fabian as two of our head servers and they were a big part of why our reception was so much fun. They were the life of the party and we loved having them! I would definitely recommend!”

“There are not enough words to begin to describe how incredible our experience was at the Burlington Convention Centre. Our coordinator Sonia truly is the best at her job. Sonia looked after every possible detail for both the bridal shower and the wedding always answering our many questions promptly. Both events were very large in size and would be a big task for anyone but not one item was overlooked. She took the time to get to know you and understand your vision. She ensured all aspects the day of the event was completed exactly as desired and she kept everything on schedule! The execution of the events was flawless. Her team was spectacular and provided great service to the guests and always with a smile. The food was delicious, very flavourful and cooked exactly as requested. The antipasto and seafood midnight buffet at our wedding is still being talked about weeks later. The only complaint was that there were too much food and not enough room to eat it! The venue is beautiful and well kept. Having the hotel next door was convenient for our out-of-town guests at the wedding too! Our events would not have turned out as perfect as they did without Sonia and her team. Thank you, Burlington Convention Centre, for making the bridal shower and wedding everything we had dreamed of.
